Hello,
New J 5.1 site installed 2.9.7 when I create an article and got to Images and links tab the core functionality of the preview and select buttons are not displayed, just a simple form field.
When I disable the JCE extension they are come back again.
HELP!

Ok confirmed bug. The issue occurs when there are no other custom fields. A temporary fix is to disable conversion of Joomla Media Fields to JCE Media Fields, which I have done on your site by setting this option - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/support/faq/editor/revert-to-using-the-joomla-media-manager-in-intro-image-etc-2
You can still use JCE Pro in other areas.
A fix is on the way.

This issue apparently also affected the Image selector functionality of JoomDonation's Events Booking extension. as I discovered this morning. I thought it was an issue with JoomDonation, and they quickly diagnosed it to the latest JCE update.
Looking forward a fast deployment of the fix.

I have the same, updatet 135 websites, but I don't wont to do this temporary fix on this sites...
I am working on a fix now which will be available in JCE Pro 2.9.71 update later today or tomorrow.
